End asylum hotels — publish the exit date
Hotel accommodation is expensive, opaque and dumped on the same handful of communities without consultation. Residents are told after the fact, if at all. That ends with a timetable, not another review.
Our specific ask
A binding, dated exit from hotel use, statutory consultation before any new dispersal site, and full publication of contract costs.
Evidence base
- 30,657 people housed in asylum hotels at the end of December 2025 (Home Office).
- The National Audit Office has repeatedly condemned hotel costs as poor value for public money.
