Control the border — capacity, speed and consequences

Tens of thousands of irregular arrivals and decisions dragging past six months is not a system, it is a queue with no manager. Fund enforcement properly, decide cases fast, and remove those with no right to stay — lawfully and without excuses.

Our specific ask

A binding service standard for asylum decisions, a published Border Force capacity plan, and quarterly reporting on removals of refused claimants.

Evidence base

  • 41,262 small boat arrivals in 2025, up 13% on 2024 (Home Office).
  • Average asylum processing time remains over six months for many cases, at direct cost to the taxpayer.
